St. Stephen’s University

We both have taught part or full time for St. Stephen’s University, a private, Christian liberal arts university in New Brunswick, Canada, right on the border with Maine, USA. We are presently on unpaid sabbatical due to the financial situation of the university.

Peter Davids is Professor of Biblical Theology, also teaching ancient history and related subjects as needed.

Judith (Judy) Davids is Adjunct Professor, Psychology, and teaches interpersonal communication and counseling

Our plan for the second part of our “sabbatical” is that Peter teaches for Houston Baptist University (January 2011 through May 2011).

Crisis Sabbatical)

St. Stephen's University is facing a financial crisis due to low enrollment in incoming classes. As a result, Judy Davids was not offered any teachihg for the 2010 - 2011 academic year and Peter Davids, knowing that something needed to give and that he had book projects to work on, offered to go on a one-year unpaid sabbatical, which offeer has been accepted.
